It is no secret the public safety aviation industry is experiencing a pilot shortage. This shortage has impacted daily operations, business development, and resulted in more overtime and less time off. This fall, ECHO will offer a conference track for pilots involved in commercial air ambulance operations, aviation law enforcement, and search and rescue missions, designed to improve the safety of the industry.
Current public safety aviation pilots as well as pilots interested in joining the public safety aviation industry are invited to attend a weekend of safety training and networking opportunities lead by industry experts experienced in single pilot IFR operations, IIMC, developing proprietary IFR systems, crew resource management, as well as preparing for the transition from military to civilian aviation.
Aviation employers will also be on site to answer questions for qualified pilots. Interested pilots and organizations should register at www.ECHOheliops.org,
