U.S. Customs and Border Protection is on the frontline of our nation’s security mission and as with many in the aviation industry we are currently looking for qualified pilots to join our ranks. CBP’s Air and Marine Operations division is made up of approximately 1,800 federal agents and mission support personnel, 240 aircraft, and 300 marine vessels operating throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
In an effort to expedite hiring, CBP AMO is piloting a new Fast-Track process to get qualified applicants on board in as little as 60 days. For the first time, CBP AMO is holding a “New Hire Rodeo” bringing applicants who meet the hiring requirements to its National Air Training Center in Oklahoma City to complete the requisite steps of evaluation for fixed and rotor wing pilot applicants in one seamless process. Pre-approved applicants who have met the hiring qualifications will gather in OKC the second week of August to complete the remaining hiring assessments including polygraph screening, panel interview, board reviews and flight evaluations.
