DAC INTERNATIONAL’S GDC64 NOW COMPATIBLE WITH FOREFLIGHT AND FREEFLIGHT SYSTEMS’ RANGR ADS-B RECEIVER

AUSTIN, Texas, – DAC INTERNATIONAL INC. (DAC), a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, announced today the compatibility of the DAC International GDC64 with Foreflight Mobile. Beginning with ForeFlight's November release, version 11.10, the GDC64 allows the display of ADS-B information in ForeFlight's industry leading integrated app. The DAC International GDC64 Wired interface connects the FreeFlight Systems RANGR ADS-B receiver to an iPad for display on the Foreflight App. This solution provides an ADS-B compliant installation to meet the 2020 mandates with a wired solution not requiring Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and their accompanying reliability issues. The RANGR ADS-B Receiver connects to the GDC64 which in turn provides an interface to the iPad for use by the Foreflight Application to display ADS-B information.

FreeFlight Systems announces certification and immediate availability of the Avail Performance Package, a complete ADS-B solution for twin turboprop aircraft

February 19, 2018 - IRVING, Texas - NextGen avionics leader FreeFlight Systems announced today that the Avail Performance Package is now shipping and available for installation. The package recently received FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and Approved Model List (AML) certification. The AML STC allows for the installation of the Avail Performance Package into over 25 makes and models of twin turboprop aircraft from M7 Aerospace, Piper Aircraft, and Textron Aviation.

FreeFlight Systems adds more transponder integration options for 1203C SBAS/GNSS sensor as part of Rockwell Collins’ new AML STC for ADS­B compliance

February 21, 2018 ­ IRVING, Texas ­ NextGen avionics leader FreeFlight Systems announced today that the Company’s 1203C SBAS/GNSS sensor is now approved for installation with Rockwell Collins’ latest TDR­94/94D transponder variant. Rockwell Collins has received FAA approval of an Approved Model List Supplemental Type Certificate (AML­STC) for ADS­B Out installations across a wide range of Part 23 Class 3 and 4 aircraft with an additional Part 25 certification coming later in 2018. This product pairing provides legacy aircraft registered in the United States a complete and cost­effective way to meet equipage requirements for the upcoming ADS­B mandate. Additional foreign validations are planned to support mandate compliance in other regions.
