The Brazilian Navy orders three multi-role H135s from Airbus

Marignane – The Brazilian Navy has ordered three H135 light twinengine helicopters to be operated by the 1st General Purpose Helicopter Squadron (HU-1). The aircraft will be dedicated to a wide range of missions such as special operations, transport of troops and freight, naval inspection, search and rescue and medical evacuation. Two of these aircraft will be equipped with aeromedical kits. Other equipment will include a cargo hook, an emergency flotation system, a winch, as well as weather radar.

ÖAMTC Air Rescue Services: Fleet Modernization in Full Gear

Vienna – Over the past few days, HeliAir technicians put the finishing touches on the first H135 Emergency Medical Helicopter’s upgrade from version T2+ to version T3. “For us, it’s a matter of course to constantly develop and advance our fleet, so we can provide our patients with comprehensive care of the highest possible level of quality and safety” declared Reinhard Kraxner, director of ÖAMTC’s air-rescue services. “An obvious component of that, beyond simply investing in new helicopters, is bringing our pre-existing fleet up to speed with the newest available technologies.”

Airbus Helicopters selects Pratt & Whitney PW206B3 engine to power H135 for U.S. Navy Trainer Replacement proposal

China’s Airbus H135 final assembly line starts operations

Qingdao – Airbus Helicopters has expanded its industrial footprint and partnership with China with the opening of the H135 final assembly line in Qingdao. The factory is the first helicopter FAL built by a foreign manufacturer in China, as well as the first H135 FAL outside of Europe.

Romanian Ministry of Interior orders three Airbus H135s for air medical services

Brasov - Airbus Helicopters and the Romanian Ministry of Interior have signed a contract for the purchase of three H135 helicopters and associated support and services for air medical services and search and rescue (SAR) missions in the country, following a four-year framework agreement signed at the end of July 2019 that foresees the procurement of up to ten H135s.
