I sent my first student up for their checkride, and they passed with flying colors.  I think I found this more stressful than their solo, probably because the solo took 30 minutes, and this took 4 hours.

I think I got lucky with my first student being so easy to teach, but I'll take it.  I would say that one of the more difficult aspects that I am experiencing with my other students is maintaining their ground knowledge after all of the ground lessons have been taught.  There is a bit of a balance in that I don't want to run up their bill too much with excessive review sessions, but then again, I don't want to get to the week before their checkride and realize that they have forgotten 90% of the material.

So, to those of you out there who have done this before, how much do you review with your students once all of the ground lessons have been taught?
