The Arizona HEMS community lost a beoved colleague this weekend. Don Landry, formerly with PHI Air Evac, was a pilot at LifeNet 1 in Florence Arizona. He was a friend to all who knew him, and always had an ear to ear grin on his face. He was a masterful aviator and a Vietnam veteran. He will be sorely missed but his memory will live on. Great to read this. Don was my friend and one of my favorite pilots while I was a flight medic. Was just talking with a flight nurse friend about him. Some long conversations with Don the week before he died are part of what has led me to chasing my own dreams of flying for a living.
