• Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts.
• Supervises the jacking and towing of aircraft, enters in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily, may service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition, may specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies, and may specialize in engine repair.

• Knowledge of equipment related to individual requirements (AH-1, UH-1, Bell 212, Bell 205/204).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Current FAA commercial certificate with rotorcraft

• Helicopter instrument rating

• Current FAA Class II medical certificate

• Prefer Bell 407 or Eurocopter EC135 experience

• 2000 total helicopter flight hours

• 1000 PIC in helicopters

• 1000 turbine flight hours

• 200 helicopter night-flight hours (can be combined night and NVG)

• IFR experience a plus

Flight currency is required.

HALO Flight is currently seeking a full time qualified A&P mechanic to join our team. We currently operate 3 Bell 407's and are seeking an experienced professional. We are a non profit Part 135 HEMS operator that has been in operation for 25 years.

The work schedule is 7 days on/off 12 hour shifts. Applicants must have Bell 407 experience and good troubleshooting skills.  Good record keeping and writing skills are also required. This position will require the applicant to reside in the Corpus Christi area.
