CAE today announced that the Government of Canada has awarded CAE a contract valued at approximately C$250 million for a comprehensive CH147F Chinook helicopter aircrew training solution. The contract was awarded under the program called the Operational Training Systems Provider (OTSP) and is in support of Canada's new fleet of 15 CH147F Chinook medium-to-heavy lift helicopters.

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida - Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. has successfully completed the first flight of its second S-76DTM helicopter. The prototype aircraft successfully completed its initial test card during a flight on March 19 that lasted approximately 30 minutes. The S-76D helicopter is the latest version of the S-76 helicopter. Sikorsky is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
