The Doug Doty Vertical Flight Foundation is currently taking applications for their Accelerating Possibilities Scholarships.

These two scholarships, both for $2,000, are open to helicopter pilots pursuing advanced training past their Rotorwing Private Certification and who meet the minimum criteria for the scholarship.

REBTECH Receives STC for Medical Infusion Pump Mount

Bedford, Texas, April 16, 2012:  As part of an ongoing expansion of product offerings, REB Technologies, Inc. (REBTECH) has received an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the installation of an intravenous (IV) medical pump mounting system.  The mount can accommodate up to three SPACE Infusion Pumps manufactured by the global medical products company, B. Braun Medical, Inc., and applies to the 206A/B, 206L, and 407 series helicopters. The SPACE IV pump is widely used during medical patient transport and features a compact and lightweight design for easy transport and flexibility.  The modern pump also contains a comprehensive internal drug dosage library with integrated safety features to mitigate incorrect infusion delivery rates.

RLC SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM IS ENHANCED BY APPOINTING NEW DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE

Broussard, LA - RLC, the largest privately-held helicopter operator in the Gulf of Mexico, announced the appointment of Curtis Hudson as Director of Maintenance (DOM) of RLC.  Hudson has been a vital team member at RLC for the past 18 years where he served in a variety of roles including his most recent position as Chief Inspector.  His knowledge and experience as both a licensed pilot and certified technician ensure his emphasis is always on safety and efficient operations at RLC. Japan National Police Agency Orders its First GrandNew Helicopters
