Metro Aviation conducted annual training for 34 lead pilots last week.  Pilots gathered at the company's new training facility at its Shreveport, Louisiana headquarters.  During the culminating dinner, Metro recognized Joseph "Woody" Woodard, Lead Pilot for the First Flight program in Melbourne, Florida.

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (April 30, 2013) – Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company (NYSE: TXT), announced the debut of two Maintainers and Operators (M&O) conferences this week in China. The conferences, held in Beijing on April 23 and Shanghai on April 25, served as an opportunity for customers in the region to meet with Bell Helicopter customer support representatives and other industry experts.

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – Mike Spears has joined American Eurocopter as Senior Director, Lakota Production and Retrofit at its Columbus, Miss. production facility that produces the UH-72A Lakota helicopter. Spears replaces Fred Gerard, Senior Director of LUH Production, who is taking a leadership position with Airbus in Mobile, Ala. 

30 April, 2013: Lease Corporation International’s (LCI) helicopter division took off this week with its first delivery of a new AW139 helicopter to Bond Offshore Helicopters (Bond) in Aberdeen, Scotland.
