MEADOWS OF DAN, VA. Aerial Machine & Tool Corp and parent company, Aqua Lung have teamed up with Antipodean Aviation and Embry‐Riddle Aeronautical University to offer specialized safety training programs for pilots and crew members globally. The first program to be offered will be Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) or otherwise referred to as “Emergency Water Landings.” While geared towards helicopter crews, the HUET program covers both fixed wing and rotary wing ditching procedures. The program is being offered in the United States, Australia, Asia and Europe and features Mobile Training Units—submersible simulators‐‐‐that mimic downed aircraft in a realistic fashion. The training units can be transported worldwide to accommodate customer needs.

Everett, WA, May 7, 2013 — Keith Ray and Mike Sela have joined the growing rotorcraft sales and support team at BLR Aerospace, the company announced today. Ray, a 30-year aviation industry veteran, has been named commercial helicopter segment champion.  Ray is responsible for sales of the company’s rotorcraft products, most notably the FastFin® Tail Rotor Enhancement and Stability System, to the commercial marketplace. Additionally, Mike Sela has a new role at BLR and is now responsible for all aspects of commercial rotorcraft customer service and support, including responding to technical questions, requests for quotes and other inquiries. Both report to Vice President of Sales and Marketing Dave Marone.

Becker Avionics' DVCS6100 digital airborne audio control system was recently installed in a Eurocopter AS365N2 Dauphine corporate helicopter, operating in the Northeast U.S.  The Becker DVCS replaces the aircraft's legacy audio system which has become difficult to support since it is no longer in production and replacement parts and service have been significantly diminished.  The DVCS6100 audio system integration was performed by Duncan Aviation in Teterboro, NJ.
