AgustaWestland GrandNew Begins New Zealand Demonstration Tour

AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, is pleased to announce that its eight-seat twin-engine GrandNew helicopter will begin a six day demonstration tour of New Zealand on 4th April. The tour will start in New Plymouth on the west coast of North Island and will also include stops in, among others, Wellington, Dunedin and Wanaka before finishing in Auckland.

Jacksonville, Florida - Kaman Aerosystems today announced delivery of its 1,000th H-60 helicopter cockpit to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Sikorsky). The milestone UH-60M BLACK HAWK helicopter cockpit was incorporated into an H-60 airframe that underwent final assembly at Sikorsky’s Bridgeport, Connecticut facility and was delivered to the U.S. Army.

Bell Helicopter Finalizes Agreement for Eight Bell 412EPs to Canadian Commercial Corporation to be Used by Philippine Department of National Defense

FORT WORTH, TX – Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company (NYSE: TXT), announced it has signed a purchase agreement with the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) for eight Bell 412EP helicopters. The aircraft will be delivered to the Philippine Department of National Defense (DND) fully configured and equipped with advanced features to meet the DND’s modernization requirements.

“We are honored that the Philippine Department of National Defense has selected Bell Helicopter to fulfill their mission requirements,” said C.M. Hwang, managing director, Bell Helicopter’s Asia Pacific region. “We are also grateful for the long-term trust that the Philippine Government and DND have placed in Bell Helicopter to upgrade and improve mission capabilities.”
