NEARLY CRASHED DUE TO ICING
Today was one of the more scary flights I have had in years. We landed on a mountain peak and got a slight bit of fog come over us. It was minus 8 degrees celsius outside. Our blades iced up really badly. It took me a little while to confirm that it was ice on the blades. Luckily we were on the ground when it happened. We had to shut down and clean the ice off the blades. I learn something new that if we are below 0 degrees and there is any sort of visible moisture that there is an extreme chance of ice, and not just a little bit but a substantial amount.
