Q. Why is the open access resume database now private?
A. For two reasons: (1) To leverage our large database of helicopter industry resumes in an effort to meet the demand of our customers in need of quality personnel. (2) To attract the resumes of quality passive job seekers that may be currently employed, but do not want to broadcast that they are looking for new opportunities by placing their resume into a publicly viewable database.

Q. Will Justhelicopters.com obtain my permission prior to sending my resume to an employer with a new opportunity?
A. Yes. When qualifications are met and an employer/candidate match is possible, you will be contacted with the details of the job. If you are interested in the position AND we have your permission, we will then forward your resume to the employer. EXCEPTION: If you are sending your resume in direct response to an employment advertisement placed by Justhelicopters.com, it will be assumed that you are interested in that specific position.

Q. My resume was in the Justhelicopters.com open access database prior to this new system, is it still in the system?
A. Yes. HOWEVER.....in our new system, we have the ability for you to fill a short form and upload your resume document directly from your computer into our system. This makes for much cleaner searches and gives us the ability to push your exact resume to employers. We strongly suggest that you proceed to the upload page from the link above and submit your most updated resume into our system.

Q. May I submit updated resumes as my qualifications, experience or employment status changes?
A. Yes. You may submit an updated resume into our system at any time. If your profile already exists in our system, we will only update the information that has changed in your resume.

Q. Are there any suggested TIPS or TRICKS that would enhance my resume being matched with opportunities?
A. Yes. Here are a few:
1. Near the end of your resume create a keyword list. This would be a 15-30 word list highlighting your experience. (Short example 1: Bell 206, Bell 430, EMS, firefighting, CFI, ATP) (Short example 2: A&P, BK117, military, director of maintenance). Our system uses hundreds of helicopter industry keywords as one component of its search criteria.

2. Fill in as much of the web form as possible prior to uploading your resume. The information YOU provide in the form will be placed directly into your profile.
