Scenic
Helicopter Tours is currently seeking a fully qualified Director of Maintenance. This is a challenging opportunity in a superb
market with plenty to do, affordable housing, and extraordinary natural sites.
Serves as
the Chief Mechanic
Meets the requirements of FAR Part 119.
Maintenance Liaison to the FAA for all Part
91/135 maintenance related activities.
Quality Control Leader by example.
Coordinates all contract maintenance
requirements
Collaborates for cost control and payment
approvals
Ensures adequate tooling, equipment and
maintains both.
Establishes policies, procedures, and
controls required for FAR 135 Maintenance
Selects and monitors vendors for support as
required.
Takes Ownership of all maintenance related
processes including Ground Safety.
Minimum
Qualification Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years documented experience
in FAR 91/135 Rotary Wing Aviation positions.
Must possess Rotary Wing maintenance
experience.
Previous supervisory role in a FAR 135
Rotary Wing Maintenance Department
Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant
Certificate. Must possess IA Certificate
Valid Drivers license
Experience in Bell
206B and Robinson R44 any Bell
47 experience a plus…
Flexible work schedule including some
weekends, long hours.
Previous Management and Leadership roles.
Possesses hiring experience for add on
personnel selection.
Must possess computer proficiency
Commercial Air Tour experience helpful
Possess a strong desire to Build-a-Brand
