NTSB Final Report: Los Angeles, CA

On February 9, 2018, at 14:30 Hawaiian standard time, the pilot of an Airbus EC130-B4 helicopter, N11QK, reported striking a small unmanned aircraft while conducting an air tour in the vicinity of Nu'alolo Kai, on the Kauai Napali Coast, at 2,900 feet mean sea level (msl). Visual flight rules conditions prevailed. There were no injuries to the pilot or six passengers. Three small scratch marks were evident on the right side door of the helicopter.

On July 8, 2020, a Robinson R-22 helicopter, N7186K, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Venice, Louisiana. The pilot was not injured. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 business flight.

On July 3, 2020, at 1920 central daylight time, an Enstrom 280FX, N282SH, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Des Moines, Iowa. The private pilot sustained minor injuries. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight.

The two commercial pilots, the flight nurse, and flight paramedic sustained no injuries. The helicopter was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 135 helicopter air ambulance flight.
